Group of 5 Wedgwood Napoleon Ivy (Green) Dinner plates You are bidding on a group of 5 Wedgewood Napoleon Ivy Dinner plates measuring 10 1/4" across. The plates are a cream Queensware with vibrant green ivy leaves around the rim with a brown root attaching each. The detail work is exceptional. These plates are made in England by the Wedgewood Company, long known for quality dinnerware. This particular pattern, "Napoleon Ivy" dates back to 1815 and is discontinued at this time. These plates are from a local estate. Two of these plates are perfect in every way. Two have chips on the back, not or just barely noticeable from the front, and one has a small, but still noticeable 'v' shaped chip on the edge of the plate. Again, two are perfect in every way--no chips, cracks, or crazing. The back of the plate is plate is stamped with the highly recognizable Wedgewood of Euturia Stamp. For those collectors of Wedgewood or those who are thinking ahead to a spring table, this grouping would be perfect. Thank you for shopping with Eades Antiques.
