Striking Polar Bears Bowl, produced by Wedgwood Porcelain from England. Made in the 1930's and typically 'Art Deco' in style. Decorated with a hand painted polar bear and cub riding on a iceberg to the central reserve. Further embellished with a mottled lapis background and gilded highlights and patterning around the rims. Marked under the base with the brown printed makers marks, please view additional photographs below. The is a 2" hairline crack to the border of the bowl (photographed below). Otherwise, it is in very good condition with no other chips, cracks or restoration. The bowl measures approximately 1½" in height by 8¼" in diameter across the top rim.
