Wedgwood - Queensware Pitchers. Matched set. Large is 6" and Small is 4 3/4" In fine shape, some crazing on lip of small one. The story: It's the 1950s. I'm just a toddler. Mom has her heart set on a set of Wedgwood. The Queensware, not the fine china. They entertain a lot, she wants something sturdy that will stand up to the wear. But she wants elegant. My Uncle and Aunt were going to England. She asks them to buy it there and they do. I remember the barrel arriving on a truck. It was filled with excelsior, shredded wood shavings, and the dishes! She was very proud of that set. So, after that, she starts rummaging through garage sales looking for matching pieces. She finds these pitchers in an flea market. They were her find of the month! Years later my wife finds a matching cigarette box and we gave it to her as a present. Made a lot of points that year. Mom passed in 2004. Last December she would have been 100. She taught us all about fine things, class and quality. Thanks, Mom!
