Sage-Green-Dipped Wedgwood Jasperware St. Louis-Style Teapot We have a some really unique Wedgwood items up for auction this week, so please take a look at the other pieces we have up for bids! A very pretty, sage-green-dipped jasperware St. Louis-shaped teapot from Wedgwood, in good condition--no chips, cracks, nor crazing, and no loss of relief. Underside Lid rim bears a few nicks. T is browning from use and a brown-stained hairline running down an interior side (not visible on the exterior) and across the base (visible from the exterior of the base). The spout and handle are fine, with some separation in the relief around the handle joinings, typical of this style and age. Bas-reliefs are in excellent condition. Clear-glazed over white jasper body interior. White jasper body underside. A gorgeous presentation piece. Any questions just ask! A beautiful addition to any good Wedgwood collection. This teapot will only increase in value with time and care. Underside markings : "Wedgwood" at 12:00, "England" at 6:00, and several mustache marks. Size : approx. 5" high.
