This One of a Kind display case is hand made in California. All wood is cut and hand painted before assembly. This allows a very crisp edge with no run over of paint. Once the house is painted,sealed and assembled, the glass is precisely cut and put into place. Each house measures approximately 14" from base to peak in roof. Depth of base is 5 1/2" and depth of house with shelves is 4". Width of base is 8" and width of house is 6". Each glass shelf is approximately 2 3/4 " deep and 5" wide. There is about 3" space between each shelf. Each house has a mirrored back in it. The shelves can accommodate 2 to 5 Wee Forest Folk depending on the size of each mouse. To access shelves simply remove screw from back of roof, lift off roof, slide front glass up and set up your display. When your display is complete, slide front glass down into grooves, put roof back on making sure screw holes are on the same side, and tighten screw. Your mice are now safe from dust and can be displayed safely in your home. To make mice more secure, you may want to use a bit of quake hold under each mouse so they don't move.
