You are bidding on one, GENUINE WELBY GERMAN MADE COLONIAL SHELF OR MANTLE CLOCK.This gorgeouse clock is in excellant conditon with 2 notables (both shown in pictures) wood on back of clock above the rear door has a small crack, likely from wood swelling, on the left front outside corner, t is a small scraped area approx 1 1/4 by 1/4 inch, this I am sure could be easily touched up. Due to the close up picture of this area, it looks much worse than it really is.As you can see from the pictures, this clock has an 8 day key wind movement and 5 rod "Westminster Chime", it sounds awesome.The Welby Number 414 Clock Movement, is housed in a nice walnut wood cabinet or housing.The clocks cabinet has the following measurements, 12 inches high not including the small handle on the top, 9 inches by 6 1/4 inches for the portiuon that houses the movement, bottom base measurement is 10 1/4 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches deep.This clock was originally purchased on Sept./23/1978, from the Northville Watch and Clock Shop in Northville, MI.It will come to the new owner complete with the original bill of sale and operating instructions (see photos).T are 3 key slots on the face of the clock, I have looked at the brass movement and can read the following:WELBY DIVISION, ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH COMPANY, TWO (2) JEWELS, UNADJUSTED, MADE IN WEST-GERMANY and read more
