I am pleased to offer at a No Reserve Auction a beautiful American Wall Regulator and Calendar Clock by Welch. This is the well-recognized and desired Welch Eclipse in Walnut. This is time only and it is 8 day and working well. This clock was cleaned and oiled some time ago but it has not been used since than. This is not all original and a real artisan has restored it. Both the top and bottom are not original. It appears that the past owner carefully cut the top and bottom from an original pattern for this match is right on the mark. Than the design has been carved to match the original. Not a small l task but quite rewarding for it brings back the majesty of the wonderful clock. The Glass appears to be original and the movement is marked and correct. The dial this original however the 2 to 5 have been written over. With a small amount of effort, this could be improved with just outlining the numbers a little. .
