WELCH SPRING & CO. PATTI No. 1 V. P. CASE Offered for auction is this great old Welch Patti V P No. 1(visable pendulum) This Patti clock case circa 1885 was manufactured by the Welch Spring Co. The rosewood case is in good original condition with some wear to the base under the door and some small chips to the rear edge ot the top. The case is complete with all original decoration except the two outside top finials that are later reproductions but are nicely matched. Case corners are crisp with no damage. Number 303 in Tran Duy Ly Welch clock book. Pictures should show you anything else you need to know, I can send others upon request. The case stands approx 18 1/2 " tall to the top of the finial, the base measures 12"x 6". The glass is all wavy and original, and the guilding is excellent! Still has the original glazing on the door glass. The door functions well as does the latch. The black flocked paper inside is in good contion. All side case turnnigs are in great condition. What you see is the item you will recieve. I will pack carfully and send to you as soon as payment is cleared.
