Large Chain Mail Protective Shirt Up for auction is this Chain Mail Short Sleeved Shirt. It is constructed of Individually Welded Stainless Steel Rings. The wire diameter of each ring is 0.025" and each ring has an outside diameter of only 0.210". Although this mesh is very strong, the shirt weighs only 5 lbs. This shirt can be worn concealed for protection, or as an outer garment for Live Action Role Play, Historical Recreation Costume, or fashion statement. Since it is constructed of 100% Stainless Steel, it will not rust, or tarnish, and can even be cleaned in the dishwasher. The measurements are: Arm Length 8", Arm Circumference 14", Torso Circumference 55" (max. - please allow 6"-10" for a comfortable fit), Torso Length 24" (from top of shoulder). These measurements are approximate, since the mesh will expand and contract with gravity, and ad to the shape of your body. The more narrow the torso, the longer the shirt will hang.
