Up for bid is a pair of Weller Art Pottery candleholders. The pattern is PUMILA. If you like naturalistic forms, this lily pad pattern is for you. The pair is lovely. The pattern was introduced in the early-to-mid twenties. This set has an early Weller mark on the bottom (pictured). They are in excellent shape; t are no chips, cracks, or repairs. My finger points to a tiny nick on the bottom of one. THIS WAS CREATED IN THE MAKING; THE AREA IS GLAZED OVER. I use my antiques and I forgot to flick off the wax prior to taking photos. I will take it off before shipping. Each one is about 3.5" high and the base is 3.5" in diameter. If you like lily pads, I have some Ardsley candle holders and a Haeger lily pad motif candle holder listed this week. Please email me if you have any questions. I photographed the reference page from the 1994 Huxford book. The book is 13 years old. I am starting the bidding at less than I paid. I have enjoyed the items I am listing, but it is time to sell things. I am a college professor and I am raising money to finance my research this Fall. Please check my feedback. I usually use Ebay to buy, but I have a very good selling record too. I WILL SHIP AS I WOULD WANT TO RECEIVE: WELL-PACKED, INSURED, USPS PRIORITY WITH CONFIRMATION. PLEASE EXAMINE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AND READ THE DESCRIPTION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!
