Weller Vintage Two Handled Pottery Vase Bucket Tub in the Wood Rose Pattern - Mint Description : For auction is a lovely Weller Two Handled Pottery Vase in the Wood Rose Pattern. The lovely Arts and Crafts design vase is in the shape of an elongated textures wooden bucket exterior with two brown barrel rings around the circumference - one on the top and one on the bottom of the vase. The vase is done in shades of muted brown, tan, and green. T is a nice textured finish on the piece. On the front and back are heavily embossed muted orange roses with green leaves.One side has one rose, the other side has two. History: Founded by Samuel Weller, Weller Pottery Company was in operation from 1872 to 1948 and manufactured their wares in Fultonham and Zanesville Ohio. The company produced high quality pottery for the general public throughout their history. Mark: On the back in impressed capital letter blocked incised - "WELLER". The Wood Rose Pattern was produced between 1915 and 1920. Listed in "Collectors Encyclopedia of Weller" by Sharon and Bob Huxford. Size: 5 1/4 inches from bottom to handle top - 3 3/4 inches across the top - 2 3/4 inches across the base Condition: Excellent and perfect condition.
