Large and hard-to-find Weller Pottery Souevo vase with a Native American design. RARE FIND! Please review photos.
Made in Zanesville Ohio from 1907 to 1910, during the Arts & Crafts/ Mission movement in the United States.. Slip decorated over unglazed red clay it was made to resemble an artifact Pueblo pottery. The Owens and Clifton companies made similar work. Unmarked, which is quite common for this line.
VG CONDITION. Shows being used as planter with some white calcium marks inside and on the bottom. Displays handsomely. There are no chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Heavy bodied weighing over 5 lbs. Vase is 8 1/4" tall and 9" diameter wide.
