Hello & Welcome! I am pleased to offer for your consideration this rare, hard to find wall pocket or wall vase by Weller . The name of the pattern is Ardsley and it depicts a beautiful purple iris amongst iris foliage. The wall pocket measures 12" in length and is about 5" wide. It has an inkstamp on the back that says WELLER POTTERY as well as the number 37 written on the back. It is in excellent condition other than one pea sized shallow chip on the underside of one of the iris leaves near the top of the wall pocket. The chip is not into the body of the piece but is more like the glaze has chipped off. The chip is not very visible when the wall pocket is hanging.
