*** This is a very heavy item at approx. 90 pounds boxed. I prefer local pick-up. The shipping amount quoted is to the EAST coast. West coast shipping should be less.**** It appears that after I listed this item Fedex raised their rates (gas??) so shipping is much more than originally qouted!! This is a Wells Gardner curved tube video monitor and I believe it is brand new, it just has a minor problem. As you can see from the picture, it does work, but it has what I would describe as a flakey fly-back transformer. Pressure needs to be applied to the side of the fly-back body for the monitor to come on. I am not sure if its just has a cold solder joint, or an internal defect inside the fly-back itself. You can order a brand new fly-back from Wells Gardner for $68. You might even be able to find one on ebay for a bit less?? I have all the 27 inch monitors that I need so I am not interested in spending time fixing this one. It is a 27 inch 4-mode model. Wells part number is PD279400 and WGM2794-UOTS40E, You can run CGA, EGA, VGA, & SVGA games on it. T may need to be some tweaking of the digital adjustments to get this exactly to your liking. This is a current item from Wells and they sell it new for $445. This is sold AS-IS.
