This lot is for a FULLY FUNCTIONAL, WELSBRO "INCABLOC", 17 Jewels Vintage Wristwatch, Circa 1950s! I am unable to remove the back cover to view the movement, however, it is marked on the case back cover as an "Incabloc, Waterresistant, antimagnetic, stainless steel". The Incabloc shock protection system is the trade name for a spring-loaded mounting system for the jewel bearings that support the inner mechanical workings from damage in the event of physical shock, such as if the watch is dropped. The system was quite revolutionary for its time. The watch movement is antimagnetic and 17 jewels. The watch band is marked "Duchess, Made in U.S.A., Stainless", among other markings. The watch case is 100% stainless steel. The watch has some scratches and scuffs, particularly the crystal which probably should be replaced. The watch face has hour, minute, and second markings. The three hands (hour/minute/second) are present and working properly. The hour and minute hands are blued-steel and the second hand is bright red. The adjustment knob and winding mechanism moves smoothly. The watch is clearly used, but once the crystal is replaced the watch will be in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. THE WATCH WINDS, TICKS, AND KEEPS ACCURATE TIME!!! ! This is a NO RESERVE auction for a beautiful swiss-made vintage wristwatch in full
