Old West Swampscott Massachusetts Police Law Badge. The dimensions are 3 1/8" wide by 2 5/8" tall. The front of the badge reads "Swampscott Police". Also has some curly cue designs. The letters are black enamel paint. This is a silver plated brass shield. Has a thin vertical brass pin on the back. This is an extremely RARE law enforcement badge, that dates from the 1800's. Very good plus condition. This badge is over 75 years of age and carries no law enforcement powers. Will ship via USPS Priority Mail with signature required. Insurance at buyers request.
