Westclox 1936 Globe Paperweight ClockThis is a vintage 1935 Earth, Moon, and stars domed paperweight globe mechanical clock, patented 98049. The Earth is at the center, the minute hand is a star, and the hour hand is a moon. The background is blue with gold stars. The hours are shown in Roman numerals. The top is a convex glass cover free from chips or scratches. The case is black bakelite with a black enamelled brass back with a felt ring. The size is 3 1/4" by 1 1/2". The back is engraved with Westclox, Patented U.S.A 98049. There is a "slow" and "fast" adjustment button on the back.
