As an Electronic Engineer with many Western Electric vintage telephones in stock at all times, I am able to provide some of the finest restorations available. First and foremost, as with all my phones, if after receiving this Western Electric Thermo-plastic 302 telephone and you're not happy for any reason,even if it doesn't go with the wallpaper... The Western Electric 302 telephone replaced the Western Electric 202 and was in production from 1937 to the early 1950's. The earlier model 302's were made of cast metal. At the start of WW II Western Electric switched to a thermo-plastic version to aid in the war effort. This particular thermoplastic body 302 telephone was manufactured in April of 1946. Please see the date photo. Also the date codes on the dial, coil and capacitor all match. The ringer was manufactuered one monthe earlier in March of 1946. This entire phone was completely disassembled cleaned, oiled as needed tested and is in perfect operating condition. Notice the somewhat rare mechanical ringer volume control.
