Here we have a vintage metal Western Electric Model 302 telephone. It has been beautifully restored to its original condition. The phone has been completely disassembled, the metal case and base were stripped to bare metal and powder coated in a color known as "Mercedes Black". Powder coating is a beautiful and tough protective coating for this phone. Please take a look at all of the photos as I tried to point out the flawless paint job performed on this phone. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, scratches or flaws of any kind on this phone, including on the bakelite handset which has been nicely buffed. All electrical contacts have been cleaned and even the feet have been replaced with restored ones. This particular phone has a 5H dial in it which has been professionally cleaned and calibrated. All parts of this phone are original Western Electric parts except for the cords which I replaced with modern cloth covered ones to give it a very classy look. The line cord is a modular one so all you have to do is plug it in and make that first call. The ringer is in perfect working order and gives that beautiful bell sound you remember from years past. I've sold this type of phone to others after I've refurbished them and the feedback I've gotten has been all positive and have had repeat customers for other models of WE phones. I
