This was found in the garage, her father's stuff, of my 97yr. old aunt's lifetime home. He was born 18??-1940 and worked for the PA Railroad. He absolutely was crazy about electronics!!!The garage was full of stuff and I'm trying really hard to list it, but I don't know what anything is, so it's hard to even research. Stumbled across another one of these on ebay, so at least I know what to call it. 15 1/4" tall and bottom of hood is about 6 1/2" widehood is wood with AT&T Co, marked in wood on sidepedestal and bottom, I believe, are metal..marked WESTERN ELECTRIC COMPANY..almost missed this because there was an antique spider's nest covering it, so I added more pictures to include the writingwhatever the thing is inside the hood..it's marked Western Electric, as well.The wood platform that the mechanical stuff is sitting on, says, AT&T CO MAIN LINE SOUNDER 15B 120 OHMSI am sooo far out of my comfort zone, but still, I will TRY to answer any of your questions. Minus the spider's nest, it's still super dirty!!I have these listings being posted automatically while I'm on vacation, but I've made sure they won't end before I get back and can answer any questions you might have.
