VINTAGE ~ WESTERN STATES ~ BOULDER COLO. CELLULOID ~ CLASP ~ JACK KNIFE ~ c.1911 - c.1951 ~ This vintage WESTERN STATES CLASP jack knife has nickel bolsters and a brass lining. The handles of this old folding knife are made of a yellow celluloid with a cracked ice appearance. The handles are in great condition with no chips or cracks and only minor scuff marks. The WESTERN STATES CLASP pocket knife has one wide clip point blade. The blade is in nice, but used condition with some pitting, scratches and blade loss. The blade is a little short and when closed sits above the lining. The main clip point blade is faintly stamped WESTERN STATES in an arch. The stamp is difficult to read due to the position of the blade. T are no numbers visible on this knife. The clip point blade has all but lost it's snap on the close, but still has a good snap on the open.
