's a knife's that's got to be nearly impossible to find - a Western States serpentine cattle knife? An unusual pattern with a perfect and Scarce Tang Stamp { Western States Cut. & "MFG" Co.- Bolder, Col.} that I'd never seen before on a Western States pocket knife. This knife was one of a dozen or so that were given to an ex-Western States executive just before retiring years ago. He was given his choice of knives to take from an office Display (Sample) Board. This particular one, a gorgeous 3 bladed celluloid handled knife measures 3 3/8", it's unused and about 99% MINT. It's blades show beautiful grinds and perfect blade finishes, the main blade with a very nice clear "Valley Forge" etch. They all have strong snap. It's tang stamp is definitely different and or "special" & possibly exclusive to these "board" knives from what I have seen out t T are only a few very tiny handling scratches, etc.. and one stress crack at the top pin-front side keeping this knife from being mint. The knife is as tight as a drum and as rare as hen's tooth! Thanks & Good luck!!
