Box came from the CC&O station Clinchfield Railroad station at Fremont, Virginia, in Dickenson County. Wooden box has some splits and piece missing from one end. Has four wooden dividers inside. The top one is split about half way across. Porcelain enamel sign in very good condition with only three small chips. Sign measures 8 7/8" X 4". Box is 9 1/2" X 9" X 3 1/2". Also included is 35 Western Union Telegram envelopes with two different back designs and 13 cable blanks, plus 3 sent telegrams. I have had this since 1978 and know for a fact w it came from. Nice item for your Carolina, Clinchfield and Ohio collection.
