This is an absolute Sweetheart of a restoration, recently completed by Mr. Jack Henry. Respect, pride and passion is stated in this restored early american fan. Mr. Henry tells a story of a much younger man who worked for an electric motor company, early in the industrial revolution. He actually worked in a plant that produced R&M fans for Western Electric. He say's, he can still feel the disappointment when the plant suddenly closed. He was laid off and watched the country fall into the great depression. He soon found himself in boot camp on the west coast, as an enlisted Navy recruit. Mr. Henry say's from t, his life changed as the world changed for a long time. Well Mr. Henry survived many challenges and went on to lead a full life with many successes. Now many years retired, he stays busy restoring the same early 20th century fans he helped produce before the depression. I remember the first few days after my family moved in next door. I would be looking over the fence wondering what our new neighbor was always working on in his garage. Its been some twenty years since Mr. Henry took some time to feed the curiosity of this neighborhood teenager, when he showed me his hobby.
