Auction Works eBay online auction consignment services WESTINGHOUSE VINTAGE OSCILLATING ELECTRIC FAN 803008 Please click on thumbnails to view larger images Up for auction is a great old oscilating table fan from Westinghouse, model 803008. I would guess this item to be from the 1940's or 1950's. This fan does work and the blades and guard are in good condition; however, the cord absolutely has to be replaced prior to attempting to turn it on. It is worn and damaged in places w it has been wrapped with black electricians tape. Fan measures about 14" tall and 11" in diameter. Cosmetically, this fan looks really nice - it has a nice vintage look to it. I believe the base is cast iron, it is quite heavy and t appears to be some surface oxidation on the base. Once again, this fan is not ready to use...the cord needs to be replaced prior to use for safety reasons. A great piece for you art-deco enthusiasts.
