This Old Antique German Mantle Clock that plays Westminster chimes is absolutely Beautifully designed. The clock's case is designed with a lovely floating and rolling top. The wood is richly multi-colored with a Honey Blonde and Dark Brown grain mixture. The clock measures 26 ½" long and 9" tall, it is a striking piece. The 7' face of the clock has a dome shaped clear glass access door that is trimmed with a Brass Metal Rim. The face is numbered in Black Arabic numbers against a golden circular band. The face is marked "Narien" The movement is all brass. The case in very good condition with only some very tiny nicks on the edge (age). The clock runs very well and keeps time while striking a lovely rich sounding Westminster Chime on every quarter hour and the time on the our. This clock is from my personal collection and sets on my fireplace in a formal living area. Sadly we are relocating and do not have room to keep my favorite collectable. These clocks are heirlooms and last lifetimes. I will guarantee this clock to high bidder. It may need an adjustment after shipping they are sensitive (a reputable clocksmith with adjust free or for minimal charge).
