This lovely covered dish is signed Westmoreland and is truly very pretty with it's irredescent amethyst lid and irredescent white base. It looks just like mother of pearl. It is the argonaut pattern and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the luster is also in very good condition with minimal wear to it. I don't know if this classifies as carnival glass but it has the same irredescence.

I do accept paypal but please understand that even though the money is taken out of your account immediately - it does not clear in my bank until three business days later and the paypal echecks take even longer. I prefer checks because of the cost of paypal so please keep that in mind. I will email invoices at the completion of the auction and would appreciate an email stating that you received this information.

My shipping costs reflect the cost of bubble wrap and shipping peanuts so please understand that I do have to pay for these supplies and they are part of the cost of shipping. I DO NOT use newspaper or shredded paper to pack with because these are antiques that have lasted this long and I would prefer to have them continue to be enjoyed as a part of history.

If payment is made through paypal, then I will guarantee the item to be shipped within three business days which is the length of time it takes for the payment to clear to my bank. If it is not shipped within that time period, then shipping is free. This applies to all transactions!

If it is paid for by check, then it is still guaranteed to be shipped within three business days of receipt of the check and I will notify you when payment is received.

I list most of my items on Saturday or Sunday each week and really like primitives and early glass or pottery.

IF I DO NOT GET A BID ON AN ITEM BY LATE TUESDAY EVENING< THEN I WILL MOST LIKELY END THE LISTING AND TAKE IT TO A LIVE AUCTION!
