Up for auction is a very scarce and rare water set, pitcher and 4 tumbler glasses.This color was never released for retail sale to the general public, and only became available...from the warehouse inventoryafter the doors were closed. This item is part of the final items produced by Westmoreland.Maker: Westmoreland Art Glass Company - all pieces are marked with WG mark. This is an original Westmoreland piece. It is a limited edition itemPattern: Old Quilt CheckerboardShape: Wather pitcher ewer jug with tumbler glassS ize: The pitcher measures almost 8.5", and the tumblers measure almost 4" tallCOLOR:Black Carnival - solid black - not dark amethyst. Fantastic carnival iridescent finish with blue, pink, gold, green, purple - but NOTE: the pitcher has fantastic color with pink, purple, blue, gold, green, blue colors. Two of the tumblers also have great color. The other two tumblers have a more gold and silver iridescent finish.Age: 1983 - 1984Condition: Very good shape, no chips, no cracks.
