In 1889 a group of investors took the risk of founding a glass company - it became the Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, Pennsylvania and had a successful history that spanned nearly 100 years and today is highly collected. This is the Westmoreland hand painted decorated butterflies on a two part crystal mist candle fairy light or lamp with a milk glass base. A beautiful and charming globe with three different elaborate butterfly decals accent the globe. T are also sprigs of daisies. The base is done in milk glass and has the W over G Westmoreland mark. This is Westmoreland CL-1 product code. The lamp is about 8" tall and in excellent unused condition. This would make a delightful gift or an attractive addition to your Westmoreland collection. I prefer Pay Pal but Money orders and Personal Checks (with time to clear) are accepted. Buyer to pay shipping of $10.00 and insurance costs.
