1/4 plate sliding box camera with lens
I make cameras for wet plate collodion and daguerreotype photography. This is a 1/4 plate (3 1/4" x 4 1/4") sliding box camera that I made to fit a Ross Rapid Symmetrical 6x5 lens that I had. It is made of cherry wood. It is 8"high x 8" tall x 13 1/2" long. This is a very nice camera for reenactment photography or those backpacking trips w a bigger camera would just be too much. The lens DOES come with this camera. You can see more camera images on my site . Comes with lens, lenscap, ground glass, plate holder, and quarter plate insert. Insert can be rotated to shoot portrait or landscape images. This camera has two slides in the rear standard; the front one to focus and insert plate holder and a second to serve as "storage." It has a 1/4" threaded nut under camera base for tripod. Shipping outside Cont. U.S. is obviously more than quoted shipping price.
