This auction is for a rare, vintage find of W.H. Grindley "Cuba" earthenware. This is made by W.H. Grindley & Co. well known Staffordshire potters. The old "wreath" mark without Ltd was used in c. 1914-1925. This is a difficult pattern to find. Even researching proved difficult. T are 22 pieces, most in excellent condition, a few with crazing. No chips or cracks. This beautiful china pattern is a mix of light and dark greens, with a little yellow. The edges are trimmed in gold. The set includes: 6 Dinner Plates (10 inches) 2 Luncheon Plates (8 3/4 inches) 2 Soup Bowls (7 3/4 inches) 4 Fruit Bowls (5 3/4 inches) 1 Small Bowl (5 1/4 inches) 1 Small Plate (5 3/4 inches) 4 Saucers (5 3/4 inches) 1 Teacup 1 Serving Dish (11 1/2 inches)
