OHIO LENGTH: 3 5/8 INCHES WIDTH: 1 15/16 INCHES DESCRIPTION: Fantastic large Ohio Meadowood point with no reserve made from attractive Upper Mercer Chert. A highly collectible and valuable point type, see the Overstreet Indian Arrowhead Guide for prices. A well made handful of a point showing classic shallow notching near the bottom of the base. T is a thick stack area on the back side which this point type is known for being thick. A fine authentic example exhibiting nice ancient use-ware with an impressive Spokeshave to one blade edge. Excellent patina with good ground contact aging on this Ex. late Robert Klan piece. It displays well and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
