This auction is for 2 rolls of Lincoln Wheaties . The lot consists of pennys from what you see in the pictures. They are mostly in average circulated condition with a few being bright and shiny!!. I was lucky enough to find something my mother (God Rest Her Soul) had put away over 50 years ago. I hope you don't mind me telling the story. Best I can figure as to where these came pennys came from is as follows. In the 1940's my parents bought a gas station on Rockaway Blvd. in Queens, NY. My Mom and Dad were in business there until the late 60's. I can only figure the bags of coins I found recently were from when they were in business. In the early 70's our family moved up to the Catskill Mountains in Sullivan County, NY. To keep a long story short my Dad built a chicken coop and I built some lofts for my show pigeons. Dad built a little storage shed off of one of his chicken coops. Well, it's been almost 10 years since Dad past and 5 for Mom and finally I looked inside that small shed. I found plenty of my very old 8 track tapes, a set of silverware from when I was a child, a cigar box full of all kinds of great mementos including a couple of "Hobo Nickels" and 5 bank bags of pennys from when I guess was from in the 60's.
