THIS AUCTION IS FOR U.S.A. ONLY! NO INTERNATIONAL BIDS ACCEPTED!! See Additional Information at bottom of listing .Circa 1900 Clear Glass Whiskey Bottle. It is embossed: THE LION LIQUOR CO.; FAMILY SUPPLY DEPARTMENT; 215 2ND AVE. SO.; PHONE MAIN 2166; SEATTLE. The bottom is embossed with the number 2828. It stands about 11 inches tall and is about 3 1/2 inches wide at the base. The seams end at the base of the top which tells me it's from around 1900. The bottle has some bubbles in the glass and has some rather heavy staining inside that may or may not clean up but i believe that there is a good chance it will with some CLR. I will leave this to the buyer to do as he/she sees fit. There are no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. This is a very nice and unique old whiskey bottle that should enhance any collection.
