Up for bid this week is a reproduction from an original cast iron White Eagle statue that stood outside and around White Eagle gas stations. This particular eagle is made of cast aluminum and stands 32 1/2" high, is 16" wide and 14" deep. The eagle weighs about 40 pounds. These eagles stood at either the pumps, at the driveway, the bay doors and even on top of the four corners of a White Eagle gas station. One of these eagles in cast iron recently sold at auction for $2300. White Eagle was a Kansas City based oil company until about the 1930's. They were acquired by Standard Oil Company of New York (Socony) and the White Eagle brand was soon replaced with the Mobil brand name. This would be a great item for any Texaco, Conoco, Mobil, Shell, Keynoil, etc. collector. All items are sold AS IS! and described to the best of my knowledge. I do not knowling try to mislead and or describe something that it isn't. Payment can be made by PayPal, money order or cashier check. No personal checks accepted no acceptions. All items are shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Insurance is strongly encouraged and paid for by the winning bidder. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please e-mail before auctions end. Thanks and good luck.
