is an exceptional white chert Greenbriar from Central Florida. This point comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Carlos Tatum. The description by Tatum states, "An exceptionally thin well made Greenbriar projectile point with nicely punched deep notches. Base and hafting area is heavily smoothed. Manufactured from a high grade raw chert that is heavily patinated."He goes on to say in the evaluation, " An authenic Greenbriar projectile point dating to the Early Archaic time period, approximately 9,500 B.P." This point measures 72mm long (just shy of 3 inches) and 25mm wide (slightly over 1 inch). The pictures give the impression that t are some nicks on the ears or hafting area. Examination show that these areas are made that way and are less noticeable at most angles. Tatum grades this point a Grade 9.
