You are bidding on a lot of seven ornaments issued by the The White House Historical Association. All ornaments come in original boxes with original phamphlets. All pieces are in mint condition. T collection includes the following ornaments: 1997 - This ornament commemorates the presidency of Franklin Pierce and the historic renovation and redecoration of the White House in 1853 and 1854. The fancy gilt framed, based on the elaborate gold-leaf frames of two huge mirrors he hung in the state parlors, symbolizes the rich character of the furnishings, while the tranquil 1857 view from the south shows the White House in Pierce's era, after the work was completed. 2000 - This ornament was produced by The White House Historical Association in 2000 on the occasion of the 200 th anniversary of the White House (1800 - 2000). The design incorporates two highly detailed white sculptured reliefs of the north and south elevations of the White House. Sandstone was used from the original quarry in Virginia that produced the sandstone for the exterior walls of the White House. 2001 - This ornament recalls the era of the Andrew Johnson White House. The 24kt. gold finished ornament depicts President Johnson, his children and grandchildren, returning to the White House from an afternoon carriage ride, which was his favorite form of relaxation. 1998 - This ornament celebrates president James Buchannans term with a lovely 3 dimensional ornament decorated with red and white poinsettias and a white eagle E pluribus unum shield. 2003 - This ornament is inspired by a Victorian illustration of a child's joy at Christmas. This hand painted, cold cast porcelain figure is surrounded by a 24kt. gold finished brass wreath with enameled colors. 1999 - This ornament encapsulates Abraham Lincoln's austere dignity. It features a reproduction of George P. Healey's 1887 painting "Abraham Lincoln." President Lincoln, adorned in format attire, takes a moment to reflect upon the state of the nation. 2002 - This ornament is a sparkling bohemian crystal of the elegant east room, symbolizing the gorgeous chandeliers of the White house. 2001 - This ornament recalls the era of the Andrew Johnson White House.
