This beautiful piece is the largest of the 3 canisters in the Harvest Grape pattern made by Indiana Glass in the 1950's and 60's. It is the 9" canister which is often called the cookie jar. The middle size is the biscuit jar and the small is often called the candy jar. The diameter of the base of this piece is about 6 1/4". It is free of chips and cracks. T is one tiny flake on the inside of the jar w the lid rests. It does not show or cause the lid to fit improperly. It could be from the manufacturing. The starting price of this item is well below the book value. This is a difficult piece to find. It is heavy. Be sure to look at my other auctions.
