I start all jewelry off at very low opening bids and in the true spirit of auctions, allow the bidders to determine value without reserves. All vintage jewelry items come from estates across the country, though can very widely in age from over 100 years to modern items. No reproductions. If you have any questions, please email. __________________________________________________________ Shipping & Handling Domestic shipping : Domestic shipping & handing for jewelry items is $3.30 for first item and includes delivery confirmation. Combined shipping is available and is $4.30 for two items, and $5.30 for three (or more items). Create your own lot from our store with only one shipping cost! Purchase 3 to 100 items for all the same low shipping cost. You can combine this between store and auction purchases. Please note: shipping and handling cost covers - labor paid to pack your items, envelopes, ink, labels, bubble wrap, tape, usps cost of mailing, other packing supplies as needed, and gas (as the post office won't pick up first class mail from my home and it must be delivered). Insurance is optional for all items and combination of items under $30.00. For ending prices over $30.00 and combined store/auction items over $30.00 insurance is mandatory. Since ebay's system currently doesn't allow for changing of insurance fees on invoice (how can I possibly know what something is going to end for, or that a buyer is going to purchase 8 things in one shipment) adding insurance to your responsibility. I cannot hold the post office's hand throughout the process to make sure each and every package is not damaged and delivered as it is supposed to. Packages HAVE come up missing in transit and despite a buyer saying "it was packed well" they occasionally come up damaged in shipment. Once a package leaves my hands it now belongs to the buyer, so you must insure your package for your protection. I send thousands of packages a year, and the vast majority have not problems, but that fact alone is not going to help you if you don't insure your purchase and it comes up missing or damaged. I'm not a department store that can send you another item and count it as a loss on my corporation tax returns. My items are generally one of a kind and I do not have a replacement to send.
