I am sorry that I didn't take the time to press this tablecloth- it had stains so I soaked it and then it spent the day on my closesline in the sunshine and white snow - nothing takes that storage stains out any better!!! No stains now - in good condition - just wrinkled - white on white - would you call this a Madeira if it doesn't have that extensive cut out work?? This is still a beauty - I love the edge - it has that great design ALL along the edge - not in just the corners - then you have that heavy embroidery work in the center - just lovely - this is an oval cloth that measures 66 x 80 inches - very nice feel to the fabric -The items I am listing today came out of an estate sale in Osmond Nebraska - they divided this ladies linens in serveral sales throughout the summer - when I went to the first sale it took me a few minutes to realize that the linens that I was handling had a Rose scented odor unlike the musty storage smells that you generally get - this lady was a collector of linens and stored everything with a rose sachet!!!
