The item up for sale is a beautiful recreation of the WORLD'S ONLY SURVIVING White Star Line souvenir felt pennant that would have been sold onboard R.M.S. Titanic in the ship's souvenir shop during her first and final voyage. This voyage only lasted from April 10, 1912 to April 15, 1912.This exact style of souvenir can be seen in rare pictures taken in the identical souvenir shop of R.M.S. Olympic, Titanic's nearly identical sister ship. Please see my picture below to see this exact style of pennant hanging from the Olympic's souvenir shop's ceiling in my 1912 era picture. This fine souvenir is reproduced using the finest of dark blue and gold woolen felt that was both heavily starched and cut by hand. The image of Titanic on the pennant was acquired directly from a 1912 artifact to achieve a clear first generation reproduction. The lettering, which proudly spells "Titanic," is the correct font and is hand silk-screened just like when the originals were made in 1912. The felt pennant is the correct and very large size of 28 1/2" in length and 12" in height. This item is a must for serious collectors! The remnants of identical felt pennants such as this lie today within the Titanic's wreck. This is the EXACT type of item that the Astors, Widenors, Strauses and other famous First Class passengers would have seen and purchased as souvenirs read more
