The item up for bid is an exact recreation of an original Third Class stateroom blanket used on board White Star Line's ill-fated R.M.S. "Titanic". This blanket is exactly what would have been used by Third Class passengers on Titanic's ill-fated first and only tragic voyage into history. It was recreated using an original circa 1912 blanket as a template. It is still new and in perfect condition it it's original packaging! This is the definitive Titanic reproduction blanket and proudly bears the White Star Line's trademark flying burgee with a star in it's red and white design. Please see my picture below to see an EXACT likeness of this blanket in a rare 1912 illustrated guide to accomodations for Titanic. This blanket is made with a high quality dense weave of 100% cotton just like original 1912 blankets. Further more, is a very large size just like the original blankets of 70" in length and 50" in width. This blanket is the exact style of blanket that James Cameron should have used in his 1997 film "Titanic" in the Third Class Cabin scenes showing blankets on Third Class beds rather than the plaid green style that he chose to use which were actually the deck chair blankets! This blanket is a must have for your Titanic collection! Winning bidder to pay shipping charges. Payment may be made using Paypal and payment should be read more
