Ready to add to you quality collection of stoneware is this wonderful One Gallon Jug made and stamped by Whites Utica. This is the mark of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles who ran the pottery in Utica from 1865-1886. This beauty features a clear maker's mark and one of Whites's most famous decorations, the Pine Tree The decoration was executed with a slip cup. Stands 11.5" Tall. GoodCondition. A 1/4" flake on the top of the spout on the left side, 6 1/4" flakes on the body about halfway down, and chippage along the bottom edge in the front. Small bubbles in the cobalt in the making. Small surface spider on the bottom. No front spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. A Whites Utica Jug with Pine Tree in Good Condition. Sold with No Reserve!
