This is my complete 14 foot Gemini Cataraft setup. It will be a banner year for whitewater! Have lots of fun at a great price! The tubes themselves are PVC 14 feet long with inner and outer chambers for safety. There are no significant leaks. There was a leak on the end of one tube that has been repaired. I also put a small patch over an abrasion that I was afraid could leak. I really like the PVC for its durability and ease of repair. This boat has been on enough trips to prove itself: South Fork American, Kings, Klamath, Rogue, Snake, Idaho Salmon, San Juan etc. It has many more river miles left in it. I just don't get to the river enough to justify keeping it. It is a very stable boat. I have never flipped it. I accidently went straight over Mule Rock on the Kings. I didn't realized what I had done until I turned around and watched the two rafting company boats behind me flipping. My friend got it to surf one pontoon in an absolute boat eater on the Rogue. He had to work very hard to keep it in the hole. He just washed gently out when he got tired. Despite this it is very agile. If you have rowed a conventional raft this will seem like it is lifting above the water on every stroke. The frames are modular. If you are solo or traveling light just strap in the oar module and enjoy the moveable foot brace and adjustable seat. If you need to haul gear add the additional module,put in one of the metal floors (which double as firepans) and you are ready to support several people on a multi day. If you want to take a couple of friends attach the bench onto the cargo module and tell them to hang on. I am selling the complete package. Everything you would need to get on the water including: Two 14 foot PVC pontoons with dual chambers Oar frame module with adjustable foot brace, adjustable seat, and suspended mesh floor. Cargo/ Passenger module with removeable metal floors and removeable bench seat Two sets of oars: Cataract carbon fiber as primary and Carlisle as backup 12 volt blower for easy inflation foot pump for the finishing touch of air more than enough cam straps to tie it all together patch material extra parts for the oar lock setup This is a plug and play setup. No more parts to buy. Pack your PFD and go! I can deliver to or arrange pickup in LA, bay area, Sacramento and most places between.
