I have for auction a hardcover 9x11 pictorial book with 150 views of Blackpool, StAnnes-on-sea, Poulton LeFylde, Lytham, Fleetwood and district. This is the Kingsway Series by WHS. Inside has a picture of Central Promenade, Blackpool and reads that it is one hundred and fifty views Blackpool and vicinity including Fleetwood, Lytham, St. Annes-On-Sea, Poulton-Le-Fylde, Thornton, Bispham, Fairhaven, and Norbreck. Printed and published by W.H. Smith & Son, Wholesale Stationers, 186 Strand London W.C. Pages are in beautiful condition and untorn, with some pages viewing one large photo, some with 2 per page, and others that have as many as 5 pictures per page. One photo shows Nelson's flagship, The "Foudroyant," wrecked at Blackpool, June, 1897. Other photos are: Old stocks. Poulton. Le-Fylde; lifeboat memorial, St. Annes-On-Sea; Pharo's Lighthouse, Fleetwood; Isle of Man Steamer, "Viking", The "Wyvern"; The wrecked "Sirene"; Launching Lifeboats; Winter Gardens; Skating Rink; Talbort Square; Victoria Hospital; Gynn Inn; Old and New "Uncle Tom's Cabins"; etc. The binding holding the back and front of book is gone but pages are all still intact. This would be a great historical addition to your collection. Feel free to ask questions.
