**RARE**CLASSIC c1910 EDWARDIAN 12K ROLLED ROSE GOLD BANGLE-25GM This is a gorgeous Antique Edwardian 12K Rolled Rose Gold bangle bracelet....that measures just over 5/8" wide and weighs 25 grams !... and in wonderful antique condition ..with a perfect clasp that locks with a crisp snap! . It is a larger bangle and measures 7 3/8" inside and would fit just over a 7 1/4" wrist comfortably .. This is SO RARE to find in this condition , size and weight ! These very solid bangles are becoming very hard to find these days..This bangle can withstand a lot of punishment and can be worn everyday . .. a gorgeous antique VERY SOFT ROSE GOLD color.. that PINK rose gold color that is highly sought after..not like deep rose gold of today I took most of the photos out in full sun and updated them again today, to give a true indication of the item, but the photos look a bit brassy in color and washed out.. but due to the HIGH SHINE.. this bangle picked up every reflection...even reflecting the white organza underneath.. but it is GORGEOUS in person This is a PLAIN bangle... with a smooth interior and exterior.. and I was informed these are known as "NELLIE STEWART BANGLES" ..very collectable indeed ! HISTORY It is Circa 1910 by design and styling and makers mark. It is not stamped inside but the outer surface tests positive for a minimum of 12 karat gold , this is a 12 karat rolled gold bangle with a thin internal metal core to give it strength and rigidity. T is also the makers mark .. SBCo STANDARD BUTTON CO - Founded 1909 and ceased 1922. Their items are becoming extremely rare and they were reknowned for their rolled gold items and such craftsmanship and QUALITY High quality examples like this were often Metal Core Rolled Gold and are very collectable and usually stand out from the others. .. and this one is no exception due to the lovely antique condition.. DESCRIPTION & SIZING It is a beautiful antique soft rose gold color, that buttery gold with a pink rosey hue.... ... and the patina is excellent as you would expect with quality antique jewelry. The entire interior and exterior are plain and smooth ....... .just a BREATHTAKING bangle with elegant styling.... ..and sparkles at every turn..! This is a MUST for the antique rose gold bangle collector . This piece is just so shiny ! This is a hinged bangle and it has a side push button locking clasp that locks superbly with a crisp snap....The hinge is tight and secure with no play... It is a larger bangle and the inside measures just over 7 3/8" and would fit a wrist just over 7 1/4 " . It is also just under 5/8" in width... a substantial piece This weighs approx 25 grams, which further adds to its appeal ! The only fault I can see is a couple of tiny dimples but this is consistent with age.. and is not noticeable when being worn, but is mentioned for accuracy ,apart from that it is in lovely antique condition considering its vast age.. and will be sure to please. These are becoming so hard to find these days. Please note that t are some dark shadows in the photos but this is simply reflection in the camera ..and the gorgeous antique rose gold color isnt showing up well in these pictures.it looks brassy, but please check my feedback so you may bid with confidence.. It is engraved on the back of the bangle but this is not visible when being worn, and i LOVE these engraved pieces as they hold such nostalgia and you know they have a history.. I wear several that are like this.. You could get the engraving removed but it is in OLDE WORLDE SCRIPT and is beautiful..
