Very nice strong 3" wide socket slick for heavy duty framing jointing work. The slick does not appear to have a maker's stamp in the steel (it looks much like a Greenlee or an Ohio Tool Co with slightly rounded top surface). The slick is apparently made from cast steel and holds an edge like a razor. The overall length of the slick with the hardwood handle (mahogany ?) is approximately 25" from the edge to the top of the handle. The socket slick is approximately 13" long from the edge to the top of the socket. The handle has a wood screw for securing in the socket. The dismantled length of the slick is about 13" and fits in a a flat fixed postage medium box. The slick is offered at reasonable bid prices due to the absence of a maker's brand name stamp. The slick is very sharp and lapped, and ready for work.
