Perhaps a wedding ring for the original owner----but easily worn now as an everyday 14K rose gold ring on the right hand--just for good looks! It's a size 7 1/2 and please know that wider rings like this one, sometimes MAY need to be approximately 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than is usually worn, in order to be comfortable. You will have to decide for your needs. It is marked "14K" inside the band with an anchor beside the 14K ---the mark of the "Dueber Watch Case Manufacturing Company" of Canton Ohio 1896 --1915 (out of business.) The only rings the company made were wedding rings. This one is "pre-owned" of course, professionally cleaned, buffed and ready to wear. It could easily be sized by your jeweler since it's 14K solid rose gold, NOT plated. It is a substantial ring weighing 5.3 grams and it feels even heavier.
