Art Nouveau two tone (green leaves on yellow locket) gold filled high repousse flower locket pendant with clear paste accent pendant. Locket has gorgeous 'bloomed gold' softly frosted matte patina. Detailed leaves and petals on one side, Gothic initial "E" on the other. Measures 1-3/16" in diameter. Opens to reveal both original bezels to hold two picture. Maker hallmarked "W & H Co." in heart shape. Chain measure 20" and is marked "Union 1-20 12KT GF". In excellent condition, circa 1900. $4.95 US ship/insure. *About the maker: Wightman & Hough Company- Providence, RI. Established in 1856 with a partnership of A. Augustus Wightman and Walter S. Hough. Wightman died May 1, 1893 and his interest was purchased and the firm was incorporated. Walter S. Hough was president and treasurer until his death in 1914. In 1919 Edward B. Hough was president, Herbert D. Hough was vice president and Howard Hough Wilkinson was the treasurer. They were manufacturers of an extensive line of gold, rolled gold plate and sterling silver lockets, seals, medallions and other jewelry. The last record found was 1922.
