Here we have a Wilbert Cutlery Co. lockback pocket knife. This is from a local estate and was referred to at that sale as a banana lockback ? I am not a knife guy so if this is not correct let me know. This knife has been used and appears to be old but I think is in very good condition. The knife closed is 5 3/8" long and open is 9 1/2" long. The blade has snap n opening and closing. When open the blade locks into place and has very very very slight movement. The tang of the blade is stamped: WILBERT over CUTLERY CO. The blade has been sharpened and shows signs of being used as there are scratches on each side of the blade. The handles are bone (I think?) and are held on on each side by 4 silver pins. There are no chips or pieces missing from the 2 pieces of bone but there are a couple of pin cracks. The bolsters are nickel silver ( I think?) and are grooved with 4 grooves at the top on each side and 3 grooves at the bottom on each side. LOOK at the pics as they are part of the description!!!! The liners are nickel silver also. Again, I am not a knife guy so if I have not identified this knife correctly as to style and the types of material used please let me know. I feel that I have described the CONDITION correctly. I bought 5 Wilbert knives at this estate sale and will be listing several more of thes on EBAY . The other Wilbert read more
